The college process can be overwhelming and difficult for both students and their families. There are many important decisions to be made throughout the entire college search. We possess a unique background that allows for a deep understanding of the admission process from the perspective of both the guidance counselor and the director of college admissions. With more than 50 years of combined experience in higher education and college admission, we understand each step of the process and are here to assist both students and parents in navigating this process.

Dean Kilgour

Dean earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Occidental College. He has over 33 years of college admission experience, including 15 years as a Dean or Director of Admission. He has extensive knowledge of college admission and student financing practices and has served on committees at the state and national level.

Deanna Kilgour

Deanna earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Occidental College and M.A. in Higher Education from UCLA. She has many years of college counseling experience, including eight years in financial aid and 15 years with the Western Association for College Admission Counseling, a professional development organization for college admission and high school college counselors.
